Audiobooks are cool in that they allow people to hear fluent reading and — especially for growing readers — listen to what reading should sound like. These are keys to future reading successes. When children listen to audio books, they hear firsthand the proper pacing and intonations of reading, how punctuation should sound, and how reading should sound. Ideally, they will transfer that knowledge to their own reading, both independently and aloud.

1. Spotify- You can find many kids audio books on spotify. Create a play list
2. TKI (Ministry of Education site)- all books on page 2 and 3 of this document (here) can be searched on google - Audio book and title of book
4. Scroll down through some books available- if you have trouble loading the audio, click on the box with the arrow in the corner
